Welcome to Belle Maison Auprès De La Mer B&B, an adult-only haven of peace located by the beautiful Salish sea in Sidney/North Saanich.  We are open from May to September. We are NOT a vacation rental but a traditional B&B.  Instead, we are pleased to offer excellent individual hospitality as luxury Bed & Breakfast accommodation here in our home in Sidney/North Saanich. Our official website makes it easy for you to reserve directly with us and enjoy a memorable stay. Thoughtfully Prepared

A delicious custom-made breakfast is served every morning on the sunny 2nd floor balcony or in the elegant dining room.  You choose the time between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.  Breakfast is delivered to Laburnum Cottage.  We can accommodate requests for vegetarian and gluten-free breakfasts with advanced notice.

  4. The beach is just an 8 minute walk from the Bed and Breakfast.  Great for a walk before breakfast!

  5. 2024 is our 10th year of inviting guests into our boutique Bed and Breakfast!

  6. Each year Ruthanne plants seeds in our greenhouse for all the nasturtiums, marigolds, cosmos and zinnias for planting out in May. 

  7. Rabbits will eat the petals off the marigolds!

  8. Deer will sometimes come right up to Laburnum Cottage bedroom window for a look in!

  9. May is the best time to enjoy the flowering lilac and rhododendrons (we have lots).

  10. If you want a gourmet picnic to take to the beach, try The Farmers Daughter a fromagerie in Sidney
